Karnataka is developing a conducive ecosystem with: ‘supportive industrial policy and taxation norms, investor protection and easy land acquisition terms’.
Karnataka had recently startup policy 2016 to support Startup activity in the state. The policy envisions to create a world class startup hub that encourages research and development.
The policy framework goes along the lines of ‘Startup India Action Plan’ it will have incubators, funds of funds and stress on idea stage. The state has already transferred 13,000 acres to Karnataka Industrial Area Development Board. And 26,268 acres land bank has already created.
Karnataka expects to attract 2.60 lakh crore investment from this edition of Karnataka Investment Festival. The state policies are geared towards achieving 12% industrial growth in the next year.
